Det ble en vanlig Golden Globe-utdeling i natt. Leonardo DiCaprio vant sin tredje pris, nå for den hektiske villmarks-thrilleren The Revenant (med Kristoffer Joner).
Ridley Scott og hans The Martian (med Aksel Hennie) vant for beste komedie, mens Matt Damon fikk pris for sin innsats.
Lady Gaga vant sin aller første statuett for American Horror Story. Taraji P. Henson fikk trofé for sin tolking av fengselsfuglen Cookie i Empire. Jon Hamm avsluttet sine år som Don Draper med Golden Globe-pris for Mad Men.
Jennifer Lawrence ble hyllet som en av fjorårets beste skuespillere for Joy.
Det feteste var at Mr. Robot ble årets dramaserie, og slo dermed Game of Thrones, Empire, Narcos og Outlander.
(Og at Sly vant for Rocky VII.) Det dummeste var at Trainwreck – nominert til to priser – ikke vant.
