Vi hørte først om Sophie Brussaux da hun i mai 2017 hevdet at Drake hadde gjort henne gravid. Noe mange ikke trodde på. Noen måneder i forkant, i januar 2017, ble paret fotografert sammen i Amsterdam . (Noen dager tidligere introduserte han Jennifer Lopez, som han da datet, til faren sin.)
Kanadieren snakker om Adonis på Scorpion, blant annet på «Emotionless» (hvor 40 og No I.D. sampler Mariah Carey):
